...I got trapped in that smile... I dont know how many hours or days we stood there.. she was talking but the only thing I could see was her smile... I woke up with the word "go"...
- oh... you have to go?
- I have to catch the train, she said, and my brain was so paralised by her smile I was unable to order my body to do anything but tremble...
- ...between now and then, do you think we could meet again?
She looked straight into my eyes and just smiled... She was going and I was fighting my brain... "do something! do something now!!!"
- Can I... can I have your phone number?
Too late... she was already walking away...
She turned around, already on the other side of the street and whispered "Trust destiny". And then she faded away.
Gradually the street regained its normal colours, noises, traffic, confusion. Could I have dreamed it? Or?... I took a deep look at the muffin... Hum... was this by any chance a magical muffin?...
When I finally regained the control of my body I walked home.
Up the stairs.
Opened the door.
Closed the door.
knocking at the door.
It was her. The smile.
- You were swimming around my head, she said.
She looked around. Always smiling. Like a child, enchanted by a newly discovered territory. And I... was in twilight zone.
- So this is your world, she said, in one corner of it, just before disappearing, like magic, to suddenly appear in another corner. "You are so amazing..." She was moving, faster than Neo, and her voice was a colourful whisper. Explosions... everywhere.
Then she stopped and laughed.
- You still have that half bitten muffin in your hand!
I realised there was something wrong with time and space but I was not going to complain.
- Would you like to take a bite? I asked, moving closer.
- I don't know if I should take a muffin from a stranger...
- What do you mean a stranger? You are in my world and already mixed up all my senses...
The lips almost touching.
- You are too intense... she, the storm, said.
I gently touched her and gave her the muffin, in a kiss. The kiss got bigger than us. It took my brain, my heart, my body, my flat, my street, the world.
We finally opened our eyes. She was still smiling. She grabbed my arm. We got comfortable in our seats and fastened our seat belts. A last sigh before going down the rollercoaster.

- Do you have a light?
I didnt smoke, but I carried the lighter to light my joints. I searched in my pockets with my left hand, not knowing what to do with the half bitten muffin on my right hand.
I gave her the lighter.
- Thanks. Do you want one?
- No, thanks, I dont smoke.
I took the opportunity to look at her. Hum... interesting, I thought.
- Are you coming or leaving?
I thought to myself, neither... but I hesitated before I gave her that answer. I could prolong the subject... and why not?...
- To tell you the truth, I dont know if Im coming or leaving. I most certainly dont want to stay in the same place...
- Well, a bar that sells muffins doesnt seem to be your kind of starting point, in some way youre not in the same place...
She smiled and her eyes captivated me.
- What about you?...
